Pantheon Cubed
Five academic theses about the National Pantheon — Church of Santa Engrácia: its construction, interrupted over three centuries, the structure of the dome, the patronage that shaped the building and the idea of the hero that transformed a church into a pantheon.
Each thesis has its own colour and a face engraved on the 150 cork cubes placed throughout the monument. If you arrived here through a cube, find the same colour in the list.

Cubed
One hundred and fifty cork cubes are placed throughout the monument. Each one bears the face of one of these five studies and a code linking to the document; at the entrance, a large-scale cube brings the collection together.
Research once confined to master’s and doctoral theses is now within reach of everyone who enters the church. The installation is temporary — this page remains.
